Front Row Produce has outgrown its space again, this time out of 23,000 square feet in downtown St. Louis. As a result, it is expanding into a 53,000 square-foot-building in Overland. This is the fourth time Front Row has expanded in the past decade.
The company will pay $2.5 million to get the extra space, spending $2 million on the property and half a million on renovations.
“We’ll be a lot more efficient,” said president and owner Anthony Pupillo Sr. of the new building. The company will also be able to go after new business. “We haven’t gone after new business [before],” Pupillo said, “because there was no [physical] room to grow.”
