Sabreliner Corp., a Clayton-based aircraft manufacturing and repair company, has sent a termination letter to all its 77 employees in Perryville and St. Genevieve in southeast Missouri, according to a union official.

David Bruckerhoff, business agent for the Teamsters Local 600, said Sabreliner also has about 82 corporate employees. The letter says all employees will lose their jobs within two weeks, according to Bruckerhoff.

The company, which specializes in work on Air Force and Navy aircraft, has a repair station in Perryville, about 90 miles south of St. Louis, and another assembly center in Ste. Genevieve.

Bob Stockard, CEO of Sabreliner Services, said Sabreliner Corp. is in default and Sabreliner Services is now its secured lender.
