Cardinals Increase Marketing That Targets Businesses

The Cardinals front office planned to mail more than 5,000 letters this week to business owners, encouraging them to purchase season tickets and to come to the stadium to talk about season ticket options. The move marks the launch of a marketing campaign to break what Cardinals officials say is a common misconception among fans: that there are either no season tickets left or that they can’t afford them.

The Cardinals have the second-highest attendance in Major League Baseball, but the team’s director of ticket sales and services wants more fans and businesses to start investing in season tickets. In the past two years the sales department has hired more than 15 individuals to increase season ticket sales.
