Sprint CEO Vows Network Improvement

Sprint Corp. CEO Dan Hesse acknowledged in a Tuesday conference call that the Overland Park, Kan.-based wireless provider’s network problems have led to an exodus of customers, but he said the issues are setting Sprint up to perform better in the future.

The company’s rate at which customers discontinue service marginally increased from 1.89 percent in 2012 to 1.93 percent in 2013, according to a Sprint financial report. But despite the network turbulence, Sprint has continued to add new customers.
