Airline Crews Expanding At KCI

ExpressJet Airlines, operator of branded service for United Express, has opened a crew base at Kansas City International Airport that will be the operational hub for 265 airline personnel. The space in Terminal C will be the work home for 145 pilots, 85 flight attendants, and 35 maintenance and materials personnel. About 40 percent, or more than 100 employees, are expected to live in the Kansas City area.

Republic Airways Holding, which operates branded flights for American Airlines, US Airways and United Airlines, also has expanded its crew base at KCI.
