Kansas City-Area Educational Software Company Expands With Acquisition

Prairie Village, Kan.-based Netchemia has completed the acquisition of Vermont-based SchoolSpring Inc., an education employment resource company. The deal offers Netchemia expanded software and support capacity for its growing customer base, which was boosted to more than 2,000 school districts across the United States with the acquisition.

Now in its 13th year, Netchemia already made 12 new hires in 2014, bringing its total staff to 75 full-time employees. The company signed on 42 people in 2013.
