Former Kansas City CEO Pleads Guilty To Embezzlement

James Kilkenny, the former CFO and CEO of Kansas City-based Waechtersbach USA Inc., pleaded guilty in federal court to embezzling as much as $338,221 from the company.

Kilkenny pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud, and in doing so admitted to a nine-year scheme in which he overpaid his salary and used company funds for personal expenses.

Kilkenny could face up to 20 years in prison without parole and a fine of $250,000.
