Heritage Home Group To Move HQ From St. Louis, Lay Off 157 Employees

Heritage Home Group, the company formed after Furniture Brands International went bankrupt, is relocating its headquarters to North Carolina.

The company’s corporate office in Clayton will close by June 25, and its satellite office in Ballwin will close on December 31, according to a company spokesman.

A Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the state of Missouri on April 25 said 157 employees of Heritage Home Group will lose their jobs because of the relocation. The spokesman also said only 26 employees will be given jobs at the company’s new headquarters in North Carolina.
