Australian Animal Health Firm Moves HQ To Kansas City

An Australian animal health pharmaceutical company said it decided to open its North American headquarters in Kansas City, a move that’s expected to bring 13 full-time jobs, because of its reputation as a growing center for the animal health industry. Jurox Pty Ltd. manufactures and markets more than 120 animal health products in 20 countries. In addition to its headquarters staff, Jurox plans to hire 31 employees for its other national offices. The company is expected to invest $741,000 in its Kansas City operation, according to the Missouri Department of Economic Development. The state also is offering incentives based on the firm’s job creation and investment performance.
