A-B InBev Could Save $200 Million With Carbon Cuts

Anheuser-Busch InBev announced plans to cut carbon emissions in its transportation and warehousing operations by 15 percent by 2017, a change the company believes could save it as much as $200 Million.

The carbon reduction program includes use of alternative fuels, more efficient trucks and smart driving tools. A-B InBev, which is headquartered in Belgium, is using initiatives in that country as well as the Netherlands as models for its plan.
