The Kansas City Port Authority is leasing land along the Missouri River to an Indianapolis developer that plans a mixed-use project, with about 400 apartments and 12,000 feet of retail space. The Port Authority CEO said the project by Flaherty & Collins “will provide riverfront residential options and serve as momentum for further development.”
Features of the project include a resort-style pool, sky bar and fitness rooms.
The deal was first brokered by the Cassidy Turley office as an effort to transform 55 acres of riverfront space into a mixed use community. Flaherty & Collins has developed 46 projects in other locations.
