Small Business Insurance Exchange Delayed One Year In 18 States

Employees of small businesses in 18 states will have to wait until 2016 before they can pick their own health plans through Obamacare’s Small Business Health Options Program exchanges, and Missouri is not among them. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services granted waivers for 2015 from the Affordable Care Act’s “employee choice” requirement to all 18 states that requested them. The Obama administration previously delayed employee choice until 2015 in the federal SHOP exchange.
