Kauffman Center CEO To Lead National Endowment For The Arts

Jane Chu was nominated by President Obama as the new chair for the National Endowment for the Arts, a position that she will fill next week, leaving her position as CEO of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. She has served as CEO since 2006, when she helped oversee campaign plans for the $413 million Kansas City facility.

She has been featured in the Kansas City Business Journal’s Power 100, a feature that profiles powerful individuals in the Kansas City area. The Kauffman Center has yet to announce its plans for filling her position.
