St. Louis-Area Company Expands Solar Power Portfolio

SunEdison has reached a deal to buy stakes in two more solar power plants that generate 500 megawatts of the renewable energy. The O’Fallon company will buy a 50 percent stake in Silver Ridge Power LLC from a subsidiary of the AES Corporation and a 40 percent stake in an under-construction, 183 MW solar power facility owned by Tenaska Imperial Solar Energy Center West.
