Expanding Engineering Firm Moves Within Kansas City Area

Overland Park, Kan.-based civil engineering firm BHC Rhodes is moving to a larger building a short distance away to accommodate its growing staff. BHC Rhodes, which employs about 110, already has hired 20 employees this year and plans to hire 40 more before the end of the 2014.

The firm’s president said the the company is growing because the construction economy is recovering from the recession and BHC Rhodes has taken advantage of opportunities in the areas it serves: development, public works, surveying and utilities.
