Cerner Increases Hiring Estimate, TIF Request For KC Expansion

Cerner Corp. said a new cost-benefit analysis concludes that its expansion in south Kansas City will result in 16,000 new employees being hired between 2017 and 2025, 1,000 more than the previous estimate. The North Kansas City-based health information technology company also said it will seek $110 million in additional tax increment financing for its Three Trails Campus as a result of recently proposed project changes.
