Florida-based college system plans layoffs for Missouri campuses

Anthem Education, a for-profit college with 34 campuses across the U.S., could close its campuses in Fenton, Maryland Heights and Kansas City due to its “rapidly deteriorating financial condition,” according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state. Sixty-seven full- and part-time employees and contractors in Missouri would be affected, a letter by the company’s senior vice president of campuses services states.
