The average closing cost on homes Missouri is among the lowest in the nation, according to a new survey by Bankrate. On the list, which ranks the 50 states plus the district of Columbia in order from most expensive to least expensive, Missouri ranks 49th out of 51.
For the month of June, Missouri closing costs — which include the lender’s origination fees and third-party fees — averaged around $2,387. In Texas, which had the highest costs on the list, the average total closing cost in June was $3,046.
Teneesee and Nevada had the two lowest average closing costs. In June, the averages in Tennessee and in Nevada were $2,366 and $2,265 respectively.
