Barnes-Jewish Hospital undergoing renovation

The Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis is in the process of renovating its waiting room to improve patient flow and increase the amount of comfortable spaces available. Representatives from the hospital are urging patients to refrain from bringing more than one guest to the emergency department until the renovation is complete. The project is expected to be completed by mid-September 2014. For now, the hospital has erected a temporary building outside the ER to serve as a waiting room.
