Ferguson business owners complain about rogue vendors

Business owners in and near Ferguson are complaining about makeshift vending stations selling T-shirts and food set up along the commercial corridor where large protests and occasional violence broke out following the death of Michael Brown. A representative for some of the businesses said one tent was selling food items such as hot dogs in front of an owner’s business. At a meeting between business owners and local, state and federal agencies trying to address their needs, several owners asked that city officials check their business licenses.
