Jimmy John’s reported that customer credit and debit card data were stolen from 216 locations nationwide, including 14 across Missouri. The company said log-in credentials were stolen from Jimmy John’s point-of-sale vendor, which allowed hackers to remotely access the payment systems at some stores from June 16 to Sept. 5.

Jimmy John’s is based in Champaign, Illinois. Eight of the stores are in the St. Louis area, and others are in Cape Girardeau, Sedalia, Jefferson City, and the Kansas City metropolitan area. The full list of affected stores is available on a Jimmy John’s website.
