A-B InBev announces new North American president

Anheuser-Busch InBev has promoted North America zone President Luiz Fernando Edmond to head of global sales and appointed João Castro Neves to take his place. A-B InBev, the world’s largest brewer, announced the management changes Friday. They will take effect Jan. 1.

Edmond became North America zone president and CEO of Anheuser-Busch in November 2008 when A-B was acquired by InBev for $52 billion. Neves currently serves as president for A-B InBev’s Latin America north zone and CEO of Ambev and has been in the position since 2009.
