A woman who worked in the compliance department at Sigma-Aldrich Corp. for 18 years is accusing the company of age discrimination, which she says led to her dismissal last year.

The lawsuit filed in St. Louis Circuit Court says Rebecca Owens received satisfactory performance ratings from 1994 to 2011. The life science and technology company is based in St. Louis.
