Missouri home prices rise, but rate is below US average

Single-family home prices in Missouri, including distressed sales, increased by 3.9 percent in August compared with the same month in 2013. The increase was 5 percent in St. Louis. That’s according to new data published by CoreLogic, a California-based real estate tracker.

Nationwide, home prices, including distressed sales, increased 6.4 percent in August compared with August 2013. Missouri’s foreclosure rate was 0.6 percent, down 0.2 percent from August 2013.
