Solar company Sungevity expanding to KC, plans to hire 600

Sungevity Inc., a residential solar services company, plans to create about 600 jobs over a five-year period with a new national sales and services center set to open in January in downtown Kansas City. Sungevity, which has grown from 30 to 600 employees in just over four years, will start with 50 associates in its Kansas City location. Company officials described the office as an “inside sales model that will handle inbound and outbound calls” and will offer entry-level jobs.
