Berkshire Hathaway Invests in Express Scripts

Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway purchased 449,489 shares of St. Louis-based health care benefits manager Express Scripts in the third quarter. Those shares are worth about $35 million.

Express Scripts reported a $589.1 million profit for the quarter, a 34 percent profit increase from the third quarter of 2013.

Berkshire ended September with about $188.9 billion of equities.
