Veteran broadcaster Priddy retires after 40 years covering the Capitol

Veteran broadcaster Bob Priddy retired this week after 40 years covering the state Capitol for Missourinet.

Priddy, 74, began his career at Missourinet in 1974, when it was a radio startup distributing statewide news to small-town radio stations. On Monday, he retired as the organization’s news director after four decades covering the Missouri legislature, crusading for open government and establishing himself as an authority on state history.
