Missouri first state to see average gas price dip below $2 since 2009

Missouri became the first state Friday to have its average gas price fall below $2 per gallon since 2009, according to AAA.

In the St. Louis area, gas prices have fallen more than $1 per gallon in the past year.

The national gas price Friday dipped to $2.32, its lowest mark since May 2009. The average price nationally had declined for 92 consecutive days.
