A task force created by Gov. Jay Nixon to help keep the Rams in St. Louis will deliver its recommendations Friday. That comes just days after reports that Rams owner Stan Kroenke is planning to build a football stadium in Southern California.
Recommendations from the task force, which is led by former Anheuser-Busch President Dave Peacock and Clayton attorney Bob Blitz, are believed to include a new stadium.
The Rams, who appear likely to remain in St. Louis through 2015, have until Jan. 28 to notify the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission, which owns and operates the Edward Jones Dome, whether the team will move to a year-to-year lease.
