Rams officially staying put in 2015, but Kroenke plan in LA progresses

The St. Louis Rams notified the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Bureau on Monday that they plan to play their 2015 home games at the Edward Jones Dome, but a group that includes Rams owner Stan Kroenke said Monday it has submitted a petition to put a stadium project in Inglewood, Calif., up for a public vote.

The announcement regarding 2015 was considered a formality, since the National Football League had already announced no team would play in Los Angeles next season.

But the petition in Inglewood, where Kroenke’s group submitted more than twice the number of signatures it needed, fuels further speculation about a Rams departure from St. Louis.
