Two Missouri companies made Fortune‘s 2012 Global 500 list based on their 2012 revenue.
According to the list, Express Scripts Holdings is the 62nd largest company in America and number 213 in the world, with $1.3 billion income from $46 billion in revenue. Emerson Electric Co. is the 123rd-largest corporation in America and 456th largest in the world, with $2.48 billion in income from $24 billion in revenue.
The top of the list was dominated by oil companies, which held seven of the top 10 spots. Royal Dutch Shield was the number one company in the world with $30 billion in income from $484.5 billion in revenue. Exxon Mobil was the world’s most profitable company, taking home $41 billion in 2012.
