Express Scripts Holding Co., the St. Louis-based pharmacy benefit manager, has eliminated 380 positions, including 23 in St. Louis. The company notified affected employees Tuesday.

Vishnu Lekraj, a Morningstar analyst who follows Express Scripts, said the job cuts eliminate some of the redundant positions remaining from the company’s 2012 merger with Medco Health Solutions. He said he anticipates layoffs will taper off in 2015.

Express Scripts in November announced 400 layoffs, including 90 in St. Louis. In May, the company cut 1,890 employees nationwide.

About 250 of the latest jobs being cut are in Tampa, Fla. Fewer than 10 jobs apiece were also cut in Minnesota, Ohio, Tennessee, Nevada, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina and New Jersey.
