Kroenke’s stadium plan gets approval from Inglewood council

The city council in Inglewood, Calif., on Tuesday unanimously approved a redevelopment plan that includes Stan Kroenke’s proposed 80,000-seat football stadium.

The 5-0 vote by the council followed hours of positive public comment on the project.

Kroenke, who owns the St. Louis Rams, has not publicly stated he plans to move the franchise to Los Angeles, and the NFL has not granted the Rams permission to relocate.
