Anheuser-Busch InBev reported increased profit and revenue for fiscal 2014 despite diminished sales volume in the U.S. market. The Belgian brewer, which is the parent company of St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch, this morning reported profit of $8.87 billion for 2014, up 11.7 percent from $7.94 billion in 2013.
The company posted revenue of $47.06 billion for the year, an increase over $43.2 billion for the previous year.
The brewer didn’t fare as well in the U.S. It saw sales in the market tumble by 1.4 percent as market share for Budweiser, its flagship beer, continued to fall.
