Katy Industries moves manufacturing to Jefferson City

Katy Industries, a producer of cleaning and home storage products, is moving its manufacturing facilities from Bridgeton to Jefferson City.

Continental Commercial Products, a Katy subsidiary, said it would pay $1.6 million to terminate the Bridgeton lease.

It has not been announced how many of Katy Industries’s employees will be moving with the company to Jefferson City. However, the company has announced that it could receive tax abatements from Jefferson City and Cole County if it hires 150 or more people.

Katy Industries signed an 11-year lease for a 534,000-square-foot building in Jefferson City.
