ShotTracker, a Kansas City company with a device that aims to help basketball players improve their shooting, has announced an endorsement deal with Klay Thompson, an All-Star guard for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
Developed by two Kansas City entrepreneurs, ShotTracker tracks a player’s makes and misses during practice. The device uses sensors on a player’s wrist and the basketball goal.
Thompson, whose Warriors posted the NBA’s best regular-season record this year and are the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs, said he uses ShotTracker. His deal with the company includes a virtual basketball camp, which will take place June 21-28.
