St. Louis College of Pharmacy plans $40 million construction project

Students from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy are expected to have a new, seven-story student center, residence hall and recreation facility by December 2016. The school plans to pay for the $40 million project with donations and a bond issue.

The 190,000-square-foot building construction is part of a larger project, which included construction of a new $50 million academic and research building and library on the east side of campus.

St. Louis College of Pharmacy President John Pieper said in a statement that the school hopes its expansion will “transform the College into a global leader in health care and pharmacy education.”
