Fast-food workers plan nationwide strike Tuesday

Fast-food workers plan to strike Tuesday in about 270 cities across the country, including Kansas City and St. Louis.

The planned demonstrations are part of an ongoing national push by fast-food employees, who seek the right to unionize and a minimum wage of $15 per hour.

In Kansas City, the walkout is expected to include marches to Barney Allis Plaza and City Hall.
