Shoal Creek will be the next Kansas City-area neighborhood to be a part of Shatto Milk Company’s home delivery system.
After trying the service in the Leavenworth, Kan., area in October and getting more than 200 customers there, the Osborn-based company asked Kansas City locals to determine the next destination for its deliveries. Shoal Creek had 45 homes sign up for the service, which will start Nov. 18.
Matt Shatto, the son of the milk company’s founders, started the delivery service and said he plans to add another route in the near future.
Shatto delivers once a week to a standard cooler or custom company milk box on the customer’s front porch. The company asks for a $10 minimum order and charges a fee of $2.99 per delivery.
