Royal Banks of Missouri to merge with Frontenac Bank

Royal Banks of Missouri is merging with Frontenac Bank. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

St. Louis-based Royal Banks, which has five branches, had $413 million in assets as of the end of September. Frontenac, which is based in Earth City, had $278 million in assets and four branches.

Steve Baden, the president of Royal Banks, will lead the combined entity. Rob Roberson, CEO and chairman of Frontenac, will oversee financial and administrative operations.
