Cleveland-based chemicals firm Vectra, formerly known as OM Group, announced Monday it would be moving its headquarters to St. Louis.

Vectra is a specialty chemicals company that includes three businesses — Vacuumschmelze, EaglePicher Technologies and Borchers.

The corporate staff, which will relocate to St. Louis, has about 30 employees. Vectra CEO and President Jim Voss said the company will move into the PNC Building in Clayton.

The acquisition is expected to close in January.
