A Kansas City development company is in negotiations to purchase Westport Square, a cluster of buildings situated in the heart of the midtown entertainment district.
CAD Management, a group formed by Carlos Lepe, Adam Tholen and Drew Hood, plans to manage and redevelop the 36,000 square feet of commercial property. Plans for the buildings include redevelopment of the former Peachwave Yogurt into a restaurant with a rooftop deck, and conversion of second-story office space into high-end apartments.
Brent Lambi has owned the buildings since 2007. The sale is expected to close this week. A purchase price was not disclosed.
