Sprint ranks last, other big carriers near bottom of Consumer Reports survey

A new ranking from Consumer Reports puts Sprint last among wireless carriers for customer satisfaction.

The Overland Park, Kan.-based telecom company is joined at the bottom of the Consumer Reports rankings by the other major national carriers: T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T.

Lesser-known cellular companies such as Ting, Credo Mobile and Page Plus Cellular were considered the biggest winners in the rankings.

Consumer Reports, a publication that provides reviews and rankings of products and services, conducted surveys of about 90,000 customers in July and August.

Sprint acknowledged some shortcomings but said enhancing customer experience is one of the changes it’s making under CEO Marcelo Claure.
