MMS merging to create $1 billion medical distributor

Medical supply company MMS, one of the region’s largest private companies, is merging with two other medical distributors to create a company with approximately $1.1 billion in annual sales.

Earth City-based MMS will merge with  Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based Kreisers Inc., and Tiffin, Ohio-based Seneca Medical, the company announced early Tuesday. The new company will be called Concordance Healthcare Solutions.

The combined company will have approximately 1,000 employees and will operate 19 distribution centers.
