Sporting Innovations changes name to FanThreeSixty

Sporting Innovations, a Kansas City-based company that makes technology to help sports teams with fan engagement, has changed its name to FanThreeSixty, the company announced in a press release.

The new name aims to reflect the company’s transformation and to establish a more direct tie to the company’s FanThreeSixty software platform, according to the release.

The company, founded in 2011, also is changing its logo as part of the switch.

“Sports teams need a solution that provides opportunities to create relationships with each one of their fans, not just those attending their live events. As owners of a professional sports team ourselves, we have first-hand experience in pioneering this technology to learn more about our fans and generate incremental revenues,” Robb Heineman, CEO of FanThreeSixty, said in the press release.
