The Rams’ recent departure for Los Angeles leaves a vacancy that the Kansas City Chiefs plan to fill.
Chiefs president Mark Donovan said the club will be sensitive to the feelings of St. Louis football fans, but said the Chiefs will take the opportunity to “strategically” and “respectfully” market themselves to St. Louisans in the future.
“We think with the success we’re having on…and off the field creates a great opportunity for us,” Donovan said.
When asked if Chiefs games will be broadcast regularly in St. Louis going forward, Donovan said the team is “in conversations right now with the league” regarding the matter.
