Ford to pay record profit sharing to hourly employees

Over 7,500 hourly employees at Ford Motor Co.’s Claycomo assembly plant are scheduled to receive profit-sharing checks on March 10.

The payouts to eligible United Auto Workers members, which stem from Ford’s record pretax profits of $10.8 billion in 2015, will average $9,300.

The hourly employee bonus formula was set by the Ford-UAW bargaining agreement ratified in November.
