Clayton investment firm Benjamin F. Edwards expands to 25th state

Benjamin F. Edwards and Co., a Clayton-based financial advisory firm, has expanded to Mississippi, opening offices in Gulfport and Hattiesburg. The move gives the firm a total of 53 offices in 25 states.

Between the Mississippi offices and other locations, Edwards has recently added 13 advisers, who bring with them a total of $784 million in assets under management.

The firm was founded in 2008 by Benjamin “Tad” Edwards IV, a descendant of the founder of A.G. Edwards Inc. Today, the advisory is approaching $15 billion in assets under management.
