Hardee’s moving headquarters from St. Louis to Nashville

Burger chain Hardee’s will move its headquarters away from downtown St. Louis as CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., is set to consolidate its offices in Nashville, Tenn., early next year.

CKE said the move was a result of most of its restaurants being converted to franchise operations, which reduced space needs at company headquarters.

The burger chain, which moved to St. Louis from North Carolina in 2001, said last April it was considering a move to Nashville.

CKE did not disclose how many people are employed at its St. Louis headquarters, which occupy two stories of a downtown tower.
