Cheapest March Madness tickets are in St. Louis

St. Louis is home to the cheapest NCAA March Madness tickets in the country this year, according to resale ticket marketplace TiqIQ.

The website found the average all-session ticket is selling for $409.18, with the lowest ticket at $203. That’s higher than the $170 all-session tickets being sold on the NCAA’s marketplace platform.

Eight teams will play at the Scottrade Center on Friday. Games include: No. 10 Syracuse vs. No. 7 Dayton, No. 15 Middle Tennessee vs. No. 2 Michigan State, No. 10 Pittsburgh vs. No. 7 Wisconsin and No. 15 Weber State vs. No. 2 Xavier.

The NCAA in November 2014 awarded St. Louis first and second round games of this year’s men’s basketball tournament. The news came just days after St. Louis lost out on its bid to host an NCAA men’s basketball Final Four event through at least 2021.
